Javier Velilla

Partner director at Comuniza. Corporate communication consultant and planner with experience in defining communication strategies for a diverse range of companies and institutions. I feel passionate about how communication allows the transmission of information from one point to another, simultaneously increasing its value. I work to enhance those interactions.

Since the end of 2006 I have been writing Impresiones, a blog about communication trends, marketing and branding. It has become something in its own right, a platform that justifies the need to read and the vice of writing.

I also teach branding, strategy and digital communication at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), Pompeu Fabra University and Pontificia University of Salamanca.

Olga Llopis

Business partner at Comuniza. Designer specialized in Branding, visual identity and typography. I believe that design must provide functional, creative and attractive answers for communication and positioning of organisations, companies and brands. I was the Design Director at Summa, a consulting firm for branding. Before then, I gained valuable experience at the studio Luna.

Graduated in Advertising and Public Relations from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and in Graphic Design from the Elisava. Due to a deep interest in typography, decided to participate in the Graphic Communication with Typography program (University of Plymouth). Have also completed a Postgraduate course which specialises in Typography at Eina. At the Elisava I teach a module called ¨Corporate Identity Project¨, as well as teaching corporate communication and branding at the UOC.

Alba Villanueva

I believe strategy must ensure that creative and strategic messages are coherent. They must connect a brand with its clients, both memorably and prominently.

Graduated in Advertising and Public Relations from the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication Sciences (Facultat de Ciències de la Comunicació-Blanquerna – Universitat Ramón Llull). During my university years I learned that what really determines if a person can be happy or not, or if a company will be successful or not, is its understanding about the secrets of communication.

I pay attention to the smallest details and I have been writing COMpuntoCOM since 2009. It is a personal blog where the intention is to gather anything that is of interest to me, little parts of the world, news and little communication fragments that deserve being highlighted.

Cris Carreño

Responsible for Comuniza’s digital environment. I am amazed at how we, the people, are the main characters these days, and how we are able to forge new ways to interrelate with the brands with regards to involvement and transparency. Graduated in Advertising and Public Relations (Blanquerna – Universitat Ramón Llull). Completed a Masters in Event Management from UAB. I worked for Amnesty International for one year in their 50th anniversary, collaborating with event management and digital communication tasks. There I learned about the importance of driving comprehensive and transformative projects, as well as the importance of developing an appropriate social networking strategy. I learned more about that topic while completing a specialized course in Social Media Management at Inesdi. Music-lover. Since 2006, I have always found the time to invest in my music career and I am a member of the band Ruidoblanco.
